Balance shows in wallet but not in Swap/Exchange

I’m trying to Swap/Exchange my XRP. I have an active balance in my wallet, but when I attempt to Swap/Exchange a 0 balance is showing.

Swapping/exchanging native XRP is not possible. You need to deposit it on an exchange like Binance so you can trade it.

I can’t. Binance.US doesn’t have XRP. I’m based in US.

@CryptoDayz you can Use expressvpn trial for free and make a new account with another country ip in binance. never add phone number or use usa and germany for sign up and login with this you can trade up to 2 BTC daily

This doesn’t make sense. Trustwallet allows you to transfer over xrp from another wallet, charges you 20 xrp for the wallet to exist, and then won’t allow you to use the xrp you transferred over in any way? So what is the purpose? This doesn’t sound right.
