What is Axie Infinity?
Axie Infinity is a Pokémon-inspired digital pet universe built on the Ethereum blockchain where anyone can earn token rewards through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem. A user would have to obtain these fierce creatures called Axies, in order to play the game.
Axie Infinity has the following features:
- A decentralized marketplace for trading Axies with global players.
- An Adventure Mode where players can explore Lunacia, and gain rewards.
- A PVP system where you can battle with other trainers.
- Allows players to breed their Axies to create new ones.
The game has allowed users from anywhere in the world to get acquainted with cryptocurrencies and is even being used as a means to earn a living.

Note:
Before playing the game, you need to obtain at least 3 Axies. With this guide, we will show you how Trust Wallet can be used to get you started.
How to Create an Account with Trust Wallet
The Axie Infinity marketplace can be accessed on your Trust Wallet app via the DApp browser.
This allows the user to create an account and be able to buy, sell and trade Axies from other players.
Let us proceed.
Access the Marketplace
Reminder:
Axie Infinity Marketplace is an Ethereum DApp site. Make sure you are opening the site on the intended ETH wallet you want to use for your account.
Open your Trust Wallet app and then tap on the DApp browser. Go to the Games section and look for Axie Infinity. Tap on it to open the site.
Tap on Menu at the upper right, then select Marketplace.
Connect your Wallet
Access the Login screen by tapping on the 3 lines on the upper right. Tap on Login, then tap on Login with Metamask.
Confirm the transaction by tapping on OK. Just a few more steps and we should be good to go.
Complete Account Setup
Personalize your account by putting a Name. This can be changed later. Save it. Provide your email and set a password, then tap on Confirm.
A code will be sent to the email you have provided, put in the code and Confirm it. You have successfully created an account.
Buy an Axie with Trust Wallet
Reminder:
You need to have some ETH on your wallet in order to purchase an Axie in the Marketplace.
Every Axie is different and you need to familiarize yourself before you buy one. Once a transaction is confirmed in the network, it is final and irreversible.

Access Marketplace
Tap on the 3 lines on the upper right then select Marketplace.
Pick the Axie that you want and then tap on it. Check if they meet the stats and abilities that you are looking for.
Tap on Buy now to proceed. The app will ask you to confirm, tap on Send to continue. Repeat until you have at least 3 Axies.
Congratulations, you are ready to play the game.
Install Game and Sync Account
Reminder:
The game is currently a community Alpha version. It is already playable and the developers are happy to receive feedback from its players.
Downloading the Game
We will now have to download and install the game. Go back to the Axie Infinity website and tap on Play Now. Download the version of the app that is available for your device.
For iOS users, you need to have TestFlight installed first. Once you have that, you should be able to install the game.
Syncing your Account
On your Dashboard, you will see here the Show QR button. Tap on it to display it on the screen or save it on your device.
Reminder:
Always Keep your QR code secure, anyone can use that to login to the game.
Launch the game to see the login screen. Scan the QR code of your account or upload the saved image to login.
The game will log you in and do some updates if necessary.
Hooray, you are now ready to play the game and earn some crypto.
Earning Crypto?
Yes, you heard it right. Axie Infinity is a Play to Earn game that allows a user to farm cryptocurrencies like Small Love Potion (SLP). These tokens can be traded in the app via Uniswap, as well as Exchanges like Binance.
There are several game modes that you can go thru.
Adventure Mode
Complete quests to level up your Axies and earn some SLP along the way. Monsters grown stronger as you progress thru the levels so be sure to pick a good team.
Player Vs Player
Be able to battle amongst other trainers with their own team of Axies.
Use your strengths and exploit their weaknesses. Win your way up to the rankings.
And get more $SLP the higher you go up the ladder.
