How to convert erc20 to bep20 using binance

Hi,

I have Tether USDT - ERC20 in trust wallet and want to convert my funds into Bep20. I have read about using binance to convert the funds but I’m not sure how to do it. I will be bringing my funds back into trust wallet and use pancakeswap.

@iamdeadlyz do you have any info on this?

There are two ways to do it:

  1. Go to Binance.com > deposit USDT ERC20 > withdraw it as USDT BEP20 (BSC)
  2. Go to https://www.binance.org/en/bridge > select Ethereum to Smart Chain and USDT as the asset > enter the amount > proceed with the cross-chain swap

Hi @iamdeadlyz ; thank you for your knowledge. I was wondering how I would accomplish the same thing as you’ve indicated, but as a US resident?

If Binance.US supports withdrawal via BEP20 (BSC), then you can deposit that supported asset to them.

Else, the only way is to deposit the supported ERC20 token to Binance.US > trade it to BNB > withdraw it as BEP2 > cross-chain swap it to BEP20 (guide: How to make a Crosschain Swap on Trust Wallet) > buy the BEP20 token that you want via Pancakeswap or other DEX.
