Did you recover and import you previous passphrase or create a new wallet?
The wallet only interacts with the blockchain, it does not store your coins. As long as you have the private key for the account, you should have no problems

I entered 12 words and the entry was successful but all the coins were lost

And you definitely selected ‘I already have a wallet’ when opening TrustWalletApp up again? If you selected ‘create new wallet’ it will always be empty. Also if you have your wallet addresses copied anywhere, are they the same address as now? i.e. is your BNB BEP2 address the same as before, if not you haven’t imported your first wallet, see below article
