I sent BTC to ETH address on my Trust Wallet, from Binance. After realising my mistake (not not receiving any funds), I sent a small amount of ETH to my ETH address to see if I will receive that too (I am new with all of this). Binance confirmed the transactions but I didn’t receive anything. I followed “how to recover funds sent to a wrong public address” and “did not receive coin or token” under troubleshooting, but I can’t find anything.
I wanted to transfer BTC (0.01044460 BTC) from Binance to Trust Wallet, but as a rookie I didn’t know every coin has a different address so I transferred my BTC to the ETH address on my Trust Wallet. This happened on 21-05-2021 and I didn’t receive anything and it didn’t return to my Binance account either.
Shortly after I realized my mistake, so I transferred 0.00011000 ETH to the ETH on my Trust Wallet the same day, but I didn’t receive that either. I read that I probably lost the BTC and I tried the suggestions on the pages I mentioned in my first post, but I couldn’t find anything.
Is there any other way to find the BTC, or did I lost if for good?
