Trying to swap LEASH token for USDT

Hello, twice I have tried to Leash tokens in the Trust app. Both times I was charged Gas fees and both say complete but I still have my original Leash and the transaction shows 0. The first time was swapping Leash to USDT and the second time using Uniswap swapped Leash to Saitama for a total of $31.84 in ETH gas fees but no tokens have swapped.

Hello @Chiefshib When swapping tokens for the first time, you have to approve it first to be spendable. And, that is what you did just now.

Since you are done approving the token, you need to enter the amount that you want to exchange then press the swap button.

All in all, you will confirm two transactions: approve and swap

NB: Both token approval and swapping transactions needs gas fees.

This one is for approval on 1inch V3

You have to visit one of the protocol, either Uniswap v2 or 1inch v3 for swapping.

So your telling me I have to pay for approval gas fees and then again for the actual swap?? That’s like $100 in fees just to swap $250 worth of coin. How about this third failure I just received in which they took another $43 in fees from me only to say fail:

In total I’m out almost $150 in fees with nothing to show for it.
