USDT to ETH approved

Hello, I have the same issue.
Yesterday, I attempted to convert TUSD (ERC20) to ETH. The transaction says successful, and I was charged about $50 dollars in fees. I still have my TUSD but not the converted ETH. The fees were still subtracted from my wallet. It’s been over 24 hours, how can I get the converted ETH??

Hello @NVSGold When swapping tokens for the first time, you have to approve it first to be spendable. And, that is what you did just now.

Since you are done approving the token, you need to enter the amount that you want to exchange then press the swap button.

All in all, you will confirm two transactions: approve and swap

NB: Both token approval and swapping transactions needs gas fees.

I dont understand. I was charged a gas fee and another fee and pressed swap. Had to pay roughly 50$ for a $800 swap. Now it’s asking for $186? That makes no sense?

@NVSGold that is how ETH blockchain works. Fees are deducted and sent to miners directly. Trust wallet doesn’t take fees.
