Some projects have betas that rely on testnets for resting. Example: https://staking.bandprotocol.com/.
I can do this on a desktop with MetMask but I would prefer to test these things with a mobile wallet that supports testnet.
So, in general, it would be great to add support for testnets, not just on ETH but most major blockchains.

We use to have support for test networks, but abandoned due to low usage and support difficulty. Using Metamask or any other test network compatible wallet can solve your issue. No plans so far to support test networks.
