Hello I’m new to cryptocurrency. I opened a trading account online with a broker. I closed the account and usdt funds were sent to Trust Wallet. I was called and told my funds were suspended because I didn’t sync with an exchange. The person is now asking I have to sync with the same amount in my Trust Wallet. Is this correct
@Leanne That’s a scam please, they are not related in any way to Trust wallet.
Trust wallet doesn’t also “suspend” funds.
Your wallet is also most likely compromised if you shared it with them.
I’d suggest you create a new wallet and delete the compromised one.
Trust Admin im very disappointed u dont have live support?
7 Times ive detailed emails to Trust support and not 1 reply?
i bought Fantom/ethereum network from the Buy Button in Trust and never recieved it?

i think thats the problem?
Thanx Chris.
Thank you for your reply. Here is more information
In my trust wallet it says 34,650USDT BNB smart chain. When it was put into the Trust Wallet I received a call. They asked for the last 5 digits of my wallet to confirm. He gave his full name and explained my account was flagged due to the amount. Said could be laundering/fraud or terrorist money so it’s been flagged. He said the only way I can get it is to deposit the same amount into an exchange wallet, put into trust then I can withdraw all of the amounts. I hope this explains it a little better. I don’t understand it why it has to be the same amount as I don’t have it
Stressed
@Leanne Yes it is still a scam.
To begin with, the wallet you were given is a watch only wallet which you can not access as the funds in it do not belong to you nor them.
Trust wallet also doesn’t flag wallets as it is a decentralized wallet.
Like I said above also, you need to create a new wallet and delete the present ones as they are most likely compromised.
So all I need to do is delete trust wallet on laptop and mobile then open trust wallet on my phone only as I believe the one on my laptop was compromised. I then open a crypto exchange like CoinSpot as I’m in Australia and try to deposit the funds from TW to that? Do I have to sync it with Trust Wallet first?
Your help is so appreciated
i have done that they don reply? ive tried everything to contact trust wallet to no aval
i dont know wat to do?
thanx
@Leanne You need to delete the compromised wallet and then create a new wallet. There is nothing like syncing your wallet.
If you still have assets on the compromised wallet, then send it out first before you delete it.
