Bnb sent to USDT by mistake

Sent Bnb tokens from Binance account to USDT ERC20 address on Trust Wallet by mistake.

-Trust wallet version: 1.28.1

-From Address: 0x631fc1ea2270e98fbd9d92658ece0f5a269aa161

-To Address: 0x94f28745f2085d43d86dc912f1eaead63aa63c20

-Txid: 0xad8cbdafa1987163f2a087075a1ca4dfeb469c143f51d246df8d1b2dfa6cd247

I followed instructions on How To Recover Funds Sent to a Wrong Public Address

Chose Eth as currency (USDT not listed on BIP39 - Mnemonic Code ), found the above to address in Derived addresses (derivation path bip44), copied the corresponding private key and tried to import the private key using Bnb wallet, but it’s showing 0 tokens.

I want to recover the bnb tokens, it’s a big amount for me. Please help.

I have same issue. Mine is I sent USDT from paxful to troncat wallet in my trustwallet. The coin never showed up, I think I’ve sent Tether coin to Tron wallet.

How do I recover this?

  1. Trust Wallet app version (open the app, go to the settings of the app and press “About”, take a screenshot, and attach it here)

  2. Crypto wallet address (press the receive icon near the send button, take a screenshot of the QR code, and attach it here. Also copy and paste it in plain text)

  3. Transaction hash or link (if you have any, please copy and paste)

  4. Further details about your issue (please explain what you were trying to do)

  5. Screenshots of the wallet (including errors or missing balance)

MY STORY

Some USDT coins were erroneously sent to my TRONCAT wallet in trust wallet.

These never came.

Is there a way you can help recover these coins?

@Usenoliver, please tap on top right corner and search USDT then switch on USDT TRC20 manually. This guide can help too: How to Add or Remove a Coin

This worked.

This was awesome.
Thought I lost it before.

Now, another problem is, I needed these coins to be on BEP20 but the came as trc20

Any hope?

@Usenoliver you can send them back to Binance and withdraw as USDT BEP20.
