A person helping me set up my Trust Wallet, to deposit funds he owed me, instructed me to select ‘view only’. The money has been transferred, but all I can do is view it. How do I change this setting so I can access my funds?
@Surfigranny35 That’s clearly a scam. Watch wallet means you do not own access to the wallet or funds and can only watch the wallet.
Also more importantly no one should be setting up a wallet for you as it just simply gives them access to your assets if any.

I set up my Trust Wallet. I alone have the 12 word secret phrase. The person in charge of my funds, return on my investments, just walked me through the process of receiving my funds. He directed me to select eth and view only, and deposited my funds in that eth wallet he helped me create.
Same here but have to pay $5200 to release funds apparently as a first time user, to activate the account. I do not have that kind of money yet and dont know were to get the $ to release it, as i cant get a loan either.
it is in a view only account to me it is large amount.
No one tells you this, was talking to trust wallet support

@Mar12 That’s clearly a scam and you’re speaking to an impersonator not anyone from Trust wallet.
Also a watch only wallet means you do not have access to the funds in that wallet. Why would you want to pay for a wallet that isn’t yours ?
