I cancelled a sell order using DEX inside the app and I was charged 1527 DOS Network tokens ($210). Is this a mistake? Appreciate your help. Thanks.
Hi @Liquidity,
To better assist, please provide us the following information:
- Trust Wallet app version (open the app, go to the settings of the app and press “About”, take a screenshot, and attach it here)
- DOS wallet address
- Transaction hash or link
Before I send that over, could you tell me if it sounds wrong to you? Cheers.
Depends. I can’t say for sure unless I get more information.
I’ve just logged into the Trust Wallet and there is no transaction history in the wallet for DOS. Very odd indeed. They are BEP 2 if that helps. I have a balance there, but no history.
Will there be a transaction hash or link? I only cancelled a sell order.
Then please provide numbers 1 and 2 instead.
Sorry, I’m new the this, I don’t know what you mean. If I give you the public address for DOS will that help?
Previous balances and other transactions (including the so-called “extreme” fees) are visible in the blockchain. With your wallet address, we can check it in the explorer and see what happened.
This is DOS address bnb1necsvp26gks88vx9zw84nppyc9h8qr92mtvfpz
Thank you for helping.
You didn’t get charge 1,527 DOS. Perhaps, you misunderstood things.
Situation:
-
You bought a total of 14,938 DOS based on your transaction.
-
You sold a total of 14,923 DOS afterwards. Keep in mind that the Binance DEX charges 0.1% for fees. Documentation here: BNB Chain Documentation
There’s no trace of 1,527 DOS being charged as an exchange fee.
Thank you for getting back. I have to apologise. I have since discovered the1576 was a partial order. Because I’m not that experienced, when I closed the order and noticed that they had gone, I now know they were sold.
Sorry for wasting your time. Is there any way I can change the headline to this post?
Thanks,
No worries, @Liquidity. Glad to know that things are clear to you now. Also, no need to change the headline.
If you have other inquiries, feel free to create a new thread/topic. Cheers!
