Hello. I accidentally sent WETH from Metamask wallet to my ETH address in Trust wallet. I tried “How to recover funds sent to wrong public address” but there is no WETH wallet on the list when I want to import the private key. Please help solve this. Thanks.
Hello @Helika To better assist, please send the following information:
-
Trust Wallet app version (open the app, go to the settings of the app and press “About”, take a screenshot, and attach it here)
-
Crypto wallet address (press the receive icon near the send button, take a screenshot of the QR code, and attach it here. Also copy and paste it in plain text)
-
Transaction hash or link (if you have any, please copy and paste)
-
Screenshots of the wallet (including errors or missing balance)
Metamask did show I had ETH, that is why I sent it to an ETH wallet. I realised it was WETH when checked on polygonscan.
Thank you
Crypto wallet address:

@Helika Please try to add it as custom token. Here are the steps that you can do to manually add the token: How to Add a Custom Token
Token details:-
Network: Polygon
Contract: 0x7ceb23fd6bc0add59e62ac25578270cff1b9f619
Decimals: 18
It worked. Now I see it on my balance. Thank you very much for your help. Have a nice day.
