How to Add a Custom Token

Due to the sheer number of ERC20 tokens out there, in some rare scenarios, the token may not appear on the wallet.
Here are the steps that you can do to manually add the token.

Step 1. Access Search Token Screen

Tap on the “+” sign on the upper right corner of the Wallet Screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of available tokens and you will see there + Add Custom Token. Alternatively, you can also try searching for the token and you will get a “No Asset Found” screen with the Add Custom Token button.

Step 2. Get Custom Token Information

Using Etherscan, search for the token that you will add.

Example:
Custom Token Address: https://etherscan.io/token/0xad6a6e78f3bb441fb3127e8056686aa327dc3480

Important:
Take note of the Token Name, Symbol, Contract Address and Decimal

Tip:
How to get QR code of the token?
Tap on the “Contract” address under “Profile Summary” to get to the Token Tracker page. On the upper left you can see there the Contract address. There will be a button there that you can click on to show the QR code details. This can be used on the next step.

Step 3. Fill up Token Details

Using the information taken from Etherscan, carefully fill up the required Token details. Tap on Done once you are done.

Tip:
You can also use your QR code scanner to easily get all the token details. To do so, tap the “Scanner” icon beside “Paste”.

Step 4. Token Successfully Added

On the main wallet screen, the token will now appear. Since this is still a new token, the logo as well as the price will not be available. The token has to be trading first and listed on CoinMarketCap before the price can be properly displayed on the App.

Step 5. Request to Update Token Information

You can request to have the token info added to the codebase. Please check the instruction on I am a Developer and I want to Contribute!.
