What is the difference between Bitcoin Blockchain and Ethereum Blockchain?
Can you be a bit more specific? It’s hard two answer this apart from saying “they’re different projects”.
It’s like asking the difference between Windows and iOS or Linux. There’s a ton of differences and a ton of stuff that’s similiar.
If I had to say one specific thing it’s that ethereum is a smart contract patform that enables building decentraliced apps. Bitcoin is “just” a blockchain that supports transactions.
Wow! Very well said explanation, brief but concise one. I’ve learned now the difference between ETH and BTC blockchain. Thanks
Really it hard to say then also saying it is like mother and father
Both Bitcoin and ethereum are coins in the sense that they both have their own blockchains. However, ethereum is currently the chief altcoin. The difference between the two is that tokens and smart contracts can be built and run on ethereum blockchain but not on Bitcoin chain.
They defference bought have their own blockchain
