Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce that you can Register and use your Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domain name with Trust Wallet. As you can imagine, this is a pretty huge milestone for us.
This helps us towards achieving our goal to build a wallet where you can manage every aspect of your DeFi life. With the best value and using the best available technologies. Accessible addresses are the most basic functionality you should expect from a Multi Cryptocurrency Wallet but haven’t been widely adopted until now. Thanks to ENS, you can use the same easy-to-read name for your Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB address and more.
The use of ENS inside your Trust Wallet is pretty straight forward: when you are sending tokens, in the “Recipient” field instead of pasting in a cryptic looking hex address you can type in your easy to remember .eth name.
Notice that we leave the .eth name where you typed it, rather than replacing it with the Ethereum hex address, which we display below. That way you can always double-check the associated hex address if you need to. ENS has Multi-Coin support, so this could be Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB or any other asset we support.
