Ethereum sendingfee at 31,87%

I wanted to send 1 Aave to Binance to swap it, but the fee was 139,34
The Aave itself is worth 437,18
Thats a 31,87% sending fee
What am I missing here?

Sending 2 Aaves cost 152,53 or 17,55%
Still a bit high, I think.
Am I doing something wrong?

Yep, the fees on Ethereum are making it impossible to use at the moment. We definitely need alternatives. I also paid $50 earlier for a Uniswap transaction. Insane
