I bought some EverGrow with Pancakeswap. I could see the coins in pancakeswap but not sure if they ever appeared in my Trust Wallet (It was late at night!)
The next day they seem to have been transferred back to EverGrow without me instigating it . There is an “out of gas” error on the this transaction but I don’t think that’s related.
I’m not clear on whether I’ve messed up or been compromised. I’d like to understand what’s gone wrong before I try again.
hello @cryptobodgermatt your transaction was successfully completed but it seems your funds redirected to another address (0x0442fa9770e744c75a28c481b2d23c31b4f63928).
This usually occurs when you swap your tokens on phishing/fake DApps sites.
Can you tell us where did you find the link used during swapping? Send screenshot displaying the site with link visited visible.
It was late and I’d read loads of different sites. As I’ve reinstalled Trust wallet I’m not sure I could find it again…
I’ll have a look and post if I find it.
So much to learn, but expensive lessons tend to sink in more I find.
