Fingerprint authentication security question

My wallet is locked by fingerprint authentication. I wonder if somehow hackers have my Trust Wallet encrypted data over the internet, will they be able to send funds ?

Hi @NateWJ,

The fingerprint authentication is only there to prevent physical access. You need to make sure that you do not share your recovery phrase with others. Try to scan for malwares on your device from time to time.

Here are some good resources to protect your wallet:

It’s a good thing, it’s just for physical security. What matter is your private key

They can only access your wallet if you give them your recovery phrase or private key.
