Funds lost instantly after swap within trust wallet

Hi,

I swapped 100USDT(BEP20) to TITS(BEP20)(22,686,542,124) on Nov.28, see screenshot 1.

Then today I swapped 1.854BNB(about 1450USD) to TITS(BEP20) (35,649,462,335) on Dec. 4, see screenshot 2.

Then go to swap page, I put Max of TITS (58,336,393,875) to USDT(BEP20), it only showed 35.7USDT, see screenshot 3.

Oh, my God, I lost my 1415USD instantly?

What should I do now?

I am so worried now. I think TITS coin TrustWallet provide is safe to trade, and TITS coin is supported and listed in trust wallet, I did not import by myself, when I search TITS, they showed up in trust wallet BNB Smart Chain. Now what should I do to get back my 1450USD?

I tried to upload screenshots many times, but it was failed. How should I send you the screenshots?

Some info you need:

The trust wallet version: 8.28.1

The TITS coin (BEP20) address: 0x1559259Bb181a33DF57304c240D2E878CC673543

Transaction hash: 0x9b3e3f4b75d08323deb2c3cfa8b1ea730853ebe9486f8d18b984117d1e592ac8

@Hongtao123Li Under your token holdings, there are two of those tokens with one being a v2

I would say that tokens v2 has the value of the BNB you swapped.

Hi Tobi,
Thank you for your quick response.
You mean TITSv2 has value, but TITScoin has no value, right? Then my question is that how can I swap back or revoke my 1450USDT?
By the way, if I can’t get my 1450USDT back, l lost my money instantly, why trust wallet still list TITS coin? Why not a reminder of risk when I swap it? So I think trust wallet should also be responsible for my loss since I trust your company. 1450USD means a lot to me, since I am not a rich guy.

@Hongtao123Li I do believe the token you bought migrated to another contract and so were your tokens already so that’s why you have two types of that same token in your wallet.
You can use a dApp within your Trust app (Pancakeswap etc.) to make the swap.
But first you can add the token to your wallet manually first, here’s a guide and also the contract address:

Hi Tobi,
Thank you for your fast response. I am a newbie in crypto, so I have 3 questions before doing what you suggest:

1 If I use Pancakeswap to swap, will TITS coin return its value of about 1450USD?

2 Will I lose some of my tokens when I use Pancakeswap to swap since it’s outside of trust wallet instead of whin trust wallet. Can I swap within trust wallet?

3 The contract address (0xA753D241fFcE10A3570eDa72f6561C04b1f9Ae77) you provide is what kind of address? I don’t understand.

Regard
Mr Li

@Hongtao123Li Using pancakeswap here means you’d want to swap back to BNB.
The contract address I sent is for the v2 of that token. You can add it to your wallet to make your token viewable in your wallet.
Here’s a guide:

Hi Tobi,

I tried as you suggested, the question is that either I swap back to BNB or v2 of the token, the value is just only around 35USD instead of the original 1450USD.

So, how can I get back my 1450USD?

Regards
Mr Li

@Hongtao123Li Please check your address on the explorer.

You have two of those tokens which the one with v2 is the migrated token.

  • TITS
  • TITS v2

You need to swap TITS v2 on a dApp like pancakeswap if you want to swap back to BNB.
If you need further clarification, you’d need to contact that tokens support team since they had their token contracts migrated.

Hi Tobi,

First, really appreciate your timely anwser and patience!

Second, for TITS v2 token, no problem so far. I just want to talk about another TITS coin which made my swap a total value loss of 1450USD from BNB to it.

Third, since trust wallet list the two tokens, I didn’t import it by myself, I search TITS, then there are TITS coin in trust wallet list, so I swap BNB to it. I thought it had value and safety since trust wallet is safe and I trust trust wallet. Then I just swapped, but after swap, I found I lost most of the value of 1450USD instantly.

You know, as a newbie and commone person, 1450USD means a lot to me. If I lost 450USD after swap, I can accept it, but it lost almost all of the fund, which made me so depressed.

I know I’m responsible for my own mistake, but I also believe that trust wallet should be responsible for my part of fund loss since trust wallet list it and no risk reminder during swap.

So, would you kindly please report this issue to your manager or team leadership to consider some compensation for me?

Really appreciate your kind help again.

Best Regards
Mr Li

@Hongtao123Li I explained you need to swap out from TITS v2, your tokens weren’t lost.
They were just migrated to another contract which I sent above.
I think it’s best to contact their support team if this seems a bit more confusing.

@Hongtao123Li Also you should add the token manually to your wallet also so you can view it.
Here’s a guide again

Here’s the contract address again

I Have this same issue, only I lost my BTC that I swapped to BNB.

Not sure how to get it, considering it isn’t showing on the bsc scan site.

Check the BNB original as well and still no luck.

The transaction shows confirmed on my BTC transactions though
