I wanted to swap my USDTs to TRX, and it asked for a certain amount of TRX as a fee. I paid 20 TRX for the fee and thought the transaction was completed, but then another screen appeared, asking for approximately 32 TRX more. I wanted to cancel the process but couldn’t find any option to do so. I was redirected to Tronscan, where I used the “Cancel Approval” section and paid another amount of TRX, hoping that the fee I had paid would be refunded. However, I couldn’t complete any transaction, and I ended up paying 33 TRX for nothing. What Can I do?
@tractor For every transaction done, you’d need to pay a transaction fee; this is not charged by Trust wallet but the blockchain.
Also when you try making a swap, you’d need to approve the transaction (this makes your token spendable for the swap) first before then making the swap.
So now what you have done now is only approve and not initiate the swap after. Then the cancel approval function you used has cancelled the approval for that token which means if you want to swap that pair again, you’d need to approve first again before initiating a swap.
