I woke up this morning to a notification on my phone that trust wallet transfers and had been completed. At 5:35 a.m. transfers of all of my ethereum-based tokens occurred. Including my Ethereum, my SHIB, my GRT my AMP. I only use trust wallet on my Android mobile device, I have Norton anavirus malware protection. I have never given out my my security information or pass keys. I created a new wallet and moved my other cryptos but I’m concerned that trustwallet’s not secure and I may lose them as well. I put in a support ticket but have heard nothing.
@Danvandiver If you notice an unauthorized transaction on your wallet, then it is most likely compromised and you need to stop using the wallet immediately.
We have no way to identify the person who has access to a specific wallet or address.
Anyone can create a wallet without the need for any user verification.
Trust Wallet does not hold the funds. Everything is on the blockchain.
What this means is that a wallet can be accessed using a different app.
The Trust Wallet team cannot reverse, cancel, or refund confirmed transactions in the blockchain since the app is a non-custodial wallet. All transactions done in the blockchain are permanent.
It is recommended to create a new wallet and abandon the compromised one. Please make sure you downloaded and installed the legitimate Trust Wallet app on official sites, you can check here: https://trustwallet.com/

I appreciate the info. I pretty much gathered that at this point. I have a legitimate trust wallet app. My keys are written down in a locked file in my house. I have double authentication activated in the trust wallet app. I don’t understand how this could happen unless trust wallet is not secure. I moved all my coins over to my trust wallet from my coinbase account March 16th. Only my ethereum-based crypto was transferred (stolen) today. Bitcoin and some other coins were still in my wallet. I did create a new wallet but it’s still on my trustwallet account so I’m concerned it may not be secure. All the security functions in my trust wallet account are turned on. I changed my password on my app. Should I move what I have left to a different type of wallet and terminate my trust wallet account?
@Danvandiver It’s likely you signed a malicious contract without knowing.
You can simply create a new wallet on your Trust app then move your remaining assets there.
