How can I recover DOT sent via AssetHub/Statemint?

I copied my DOT address on the home page of the app and so didn’t see the warning on the DOT section of the app that says not to send DOT via the AssetHub/Statemint network. Unfortunately, I then sent my DOT via exactly this network, so that they did not arrive in my TW wallet. Now I can see my DOT in the Subscan Explorer, but not under polkadot.subscan.io, but under assethub-polkadot.subscan.io. Is there a way to recover my DOT worth of several hundred Dollars so I can send them again or move them from the Polkadot/AssetHub network to the native Polkadot network?

EDIT: Following the article in the TrustWallet support section “Recovering Crypto Assets Sent To Trust Wallet Using the Incorrect Network” did not really help because DOT doesn’t show up in the coin list and I cannot find a “BIP32 Derivation Path” for Polkadot on AssetHub.

I’m not sure you can recover it, it’s best to reach out to DOT, and not Trustwallet… Trustwallet only holds your assets, they don’t control wrong transactions. Thats why you have to be careful when performing transactions on the blockchain as they’re irreversible

That’s what I thought. As DOT on AssetHub can be transferred to the normal network (at least specialized DOT wallet apps can do this) and as the wallet addresses on Polkadot Asset Hub and Polkadot are the same, I assume that someone can transfer if I can authenticate somehow. I’ll open a ticket at the DOT support and ask them kindly. Thank you for your answer!
