How to add token from smart contract to my wallet

@Tobi sorry, but I really can’t understand what information from the transaction history points that the token is taken… could you please point for me exactly what field should I check? What symbols or elements are wrong? I am a little bit confused… rather not a little, but a lot😢

I will be really appreciate…

Regarding the transaction with ETH - is it 6.83 ETH on the Binance smart chain or less? As to get / to see it on the wallet it needs to change decimals from 18 to 12 … is it a real practice that when we adding any tokens we can change decimals or we shouldn’t do that?

Sorry for a lot of question, and for my curiosity, as I still don’t understand how I could get fake wBUSD to my wallet, as I personally send it to trust wallet…

@Zxc1231 There are several pointers to look out for like if the token has a logo or a price value, the source of the token (where it came from) etc.

Also if you check the explorer, you can see the value you have received which is just about $0.03

@Tobi regarding the logo and value - it is clear, thank you!

However how we can understand what the sender is fake? In my case I sent wBUSD to the trust wallet, but I can’t understand how it can be fake, how it can be converted to fake token…

If the token is custom - it also should have a logo?

Regarding the value of eth transaction - clear, that it is only 0.03$ thanks for clarification.

@Zxc1231 Where did you send the token from ?

@Tobi it was QuantumEX broker. I withdrew a couple of times a small sum and it was OK, but then we exceed the ensurance limit, needed to pay for insurance and then they said that according to algorithms on the platform the all amount was automatically converted to stablecoin wBUSD and it needs to be withdrawn to any accessible web3 wallet. So Trust wallet was selected…

So it is a bit unclear how it can be fake if i sent it myself…:face_with_peeking_eye::face_with_monocle:

@Zxc1231 That website you just mentioned is most likely a scam and you sending yourself doesn’t mean it’s a real token. There are several scam tricks used to trick people, you need to just be more observant.

@Tobi thanks Toby for clarification!
Seems there is no way to return money back…

@Zxc1231 Unfortunately there is most likely no way to recover those.

@Tobi , and just for my understanding - do we have on the blockchain the next process - for example, can someone from support team send some amount of money manually to the wallet, next, the blockchain is waiting for paying taxes for the amount and waiting for the manual signature from the admins to proceed with transaction…

I understand that it looks like a scam, however I just want to know, that such movements are not applicable to the blockchain at all…!?

@Zxc1231 That’s a scam and there are always red flags like when you are requested to pay a fee to unlock money stuck or blockchain taxes as there is nothing like that.
