How to purchase your own Reddit Avatar and transfer them into Trust Wallet for free, in 4 easy steps:
If you’re already a seasoned Redditor, skip to step 2. If you’re a Redditor AND have Trust Wallet, skip to step 3!
Step 1:
Firstly, you’re going to have to be a Redditor (have a Reddit account). You can easily sign up here: https://www.reddit.com/ it’s free! Oh, and be sure to follow us on reddit too while you’re at it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/trustapp/. For this tutorial, we’re using the Reddit app you can download it from any app store.
Then, just join the r/CollectableAvatars community. Here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CollectibleAvatars/

Download Trust Wallet here - Once you’ve set it up, you’re good to go!
Step 2:
You’ll have to set up your ‘vault’ - this is Reddit’s version of crypto storage. You’ll see the ‘vault’ tab when you click on your profile image in the app (image 1). All it requires is a password to setup, so pick a good one - but one that you wont forget! (image 2 & 3).
Step 3:
Purchase your chosen avatar! Head to your profile and select either ‘style avatar’ or ‘shop avatar’ - whichever one you see. It will take you to the avatar shop.
Then, the hardest step… picking your avatar! There is a lot to chose from, so good luck picking your favourite from all of them! (image 1).
Once you’ve selected your avatar, tap on it and then tap on ‘buy now’ and follow the steps to complete your purchase. Then, your avatar will become your new Reddit avatar! You’ll see it in your ‘vault’. (image 2 & 3)
Step 4:
Send your Avatar to Trust Wallet! These Reddit Avatars live on the Polygon Blockchain. Trust Wallet supports many different NFT types including Polygon, so it’s perfect for storing your new NFT.
Head to your Reddit profile, tap on your Avatar image. You’ll then see a grey box asking you for the ‘recipients wallet address’. (image 1) This is where you’re going to want to add your Trust Wallet Polygon address. This is super simple to find.
In your Trust Wallet app, head to the main token page as you open the app and ensure you can see Polygon in the list of tokens. If you can’t, tap on the top right hand side of the screen and search for ‘Polygon’ - it will appear in the top of the list. (image 1 & 2).
Then tap into it and then, tap on ‘receive’. You’ll see your long Polygon address underneath the QR code. (image 3 & 4).
Simply copy the long address using the copy button provided in the Trust Wallet app, and then paste it back in the box asking for your wallet address in the Reddit app. A green tick will appear is the address is correct, then hit ‘transfer’. (image 1 & 2).
The transfer to Trust Wallet is completely free of charge!
After a couple of minutes your new Reddit Avatar NFT will appear in your Trust Wallet! (image 3 & 4).
