Hi i need som help to open a wallet from view only mode. I recieved meassage from XTB they said my transfer from trustwallet is reado to go and gave me a verification key code. Can someone please explain the steps i need to take?

@Walt1111 There is no way to access a watch only wallet if you do not own the keys.
If you were given a watch only wallet by someone, that is a scam.

think have the Keys but not sure what it is exactly. I opened the wallet and havent given information to any one. I know it sounds like a scam but its from someone I trust. Have been stalling for a month and there are no signs she is a scamer. The opposit, she is someone famous in the crypto business. Ive gotten personal videos and we facetime shortly. Can u please have a look at the email i pasted with this and tell me if it makes sense? Not able to upload the email. Will copy and paste in next meassage

@Walt1111 That’s a scam nonetheless and they are probably trying to exploit you through social engineering.
Please be careful as there is no way to unlock or access a watch only wallet by paying a fee.
I invested 7 months ago, but the coach only sent ke the VIEW ONLY in trust wallet. I couldnt understand what and why like this? Can you help, me to understand this thing.?

I have the same problem I have tried to gain access to the wallet to transfer it to another wallet. And I cannot do that the coach who helped me set up the wallet also had the ability to go in and assist me. That makes me very suspicious, especially since my money is in a view, only wallet. He was able to set up trades automatically for me, but I cannot seem to be able to move the money from a view. Only wallet to even a view only secondary wallet. Meaning only wallet. 2
@BarbaraBMimms That person helping you set up a wallet is a scam and the wallet they set up is a scam also.
Firstly no one should ever help you set up your wallet and if you set one up yourself you should never share your wallet keys.
You would also not be able to send from a watch only wallet since you do not own the wallet.
Thank you for helping people like me to understand this. I’m in the same situation was set up with a view only wallet. Was told I needed to send 500 upwards for investment and withdrawal asset because the the view only would change to where I can withdraw. I was never given or asked for secret key phrases. I went to trust wallet website and talked to someone by clicking the button. They never said they were customer service but they said the same thing. I am confused. Is this a scam? Thank you for any help you can offer.
@Newbie75 That’s a scam and the website you have visited is likely a fake website.
Only real website is trustwallet.com
It says I can transfer to a wallet b or a second wallet within the view only wallet which will give me different word phrase.
Am I just screwed?
I’m glad I only lost 1400 original investment.
It amazes me how many people are so willing to steal from others.

It’s bad enough I lost everything in the hurricane, but when someone comes along and steals the last little bit of money I have; I certainly hope special place for them that’s really hot.
