Lost - 3+BNB after accidental Smart Contract Call. Help!

Thanks Jenny,

The Trust Wallet app version is 2.11.

Transaction hash is: 0x2a023c37edfedb67313e55b7ab51211a31c90d608ee534468358d29f5234a3e9

I attempted to attach screen shots but got error message that they can’t be attached to a post. You can see screenshots at the below addresses:

Please attach the screenshots of the wallet as a media and not a link?

@grahamhobbs
You need to add your Cake as a custom token
See guide below:

Sorry for the delayed response. I’d replied to the corresponding email then found out I needed to answer here in the forum.

Since you’d asked for a pic of my Receive QR-code, I’d assumed you would be able to help me retrieve the missing funds, but I’ve checked my Trust Wallet numerous times and I still only show ~$5 in BNB.

Are you still able to help? If not, can you let me know what else I can do to retrieve the funds back to my Trust Wallet. My big questions is, who received my $2,000 worth of BNB - and how can I get it back?

I appreciate your efforts to date but need to know if you are still able to help resolve this. If not, where can go for help? Is there a legal or oversight body? Can I report it as a theft? I’m trying to figure out what the best next step is as for me It’s a lot of money to lose - a lot of money to just disappear.

Can you please let me know where we stand and what if anything I can do to help you help me resolve this. Thank you!

Did you ever get this figured out? I was swapping some bnb for catgirl on pancake swap and have done it before but this time when it finished I didn’t receive it in my trust wallet and I see that it’s connected to a smart contact call…
Please help

@grahamhobbs you swapped your bnb for Cake tokens (not catecoin) which are currently in your wallet. To view them, please tap on top right corner and search CAKE then switch on CAKE BEP20 manually. This guide can help too: How to Add or Remove a Coin

See screenshot below:-

Is there anyway you can help me out Alan4?
I have the coin added already and have already swaped it a couple times but for some reason this one time it went to a smart contract.
Thanks Aaron

@Aaronskates92 To better assist, please send the following information:

  3. Transaction hash or link (if you have any, please copy and paste)

  4. Further details about your issue (please explain what you were trying to do)

  5. Screenshots of the wallet (including errors or missing balance)

I was swapping from bsc to catgirl on pancake swap and I never got it in my BSC wallet or my Catgirl wallet

@Aaronskates92 your transaction was successfully completed but it seems your funds redirected to another address (0x1e889fcc75e8e31e6859069a588724687054a42b).

This usually occurs when you swap your tokens on phishing/fake DApps sites.

Can you tell us where did you find the link used during swapping? Send screenshot displaying the site with link visited visible.

I just used google and went to the pancakeswap.finance…
everything looked and seemed legit and I have used pancake swap lots of times before

Hi Allan, this is Awesome. Thank you for your help with this - it’s really appreciated!!

Read the text below from Alan47. This should be your solution too. Search for Cake tokens and you should find your funds, as outlined by Alan.

@grahamhobbs His issue is different in this case, he used fake PancakeSwap link and his funds redirected to scammer’s wallet.

Nothing we can do about this issue.

Yea that’s super lame!
I think I found the fake pancake swap btw!
Here is the link!
And a screen shot.
I hope this doesn’t ever happen to anyone else !
I’m lucky it was only 300$ but that’s still $300 I didn’t want to lose!

@Aaronskates92 that’s fake PancakeSwap link, the legit PancakeSwap link is: https://pancakeswap.finance/

Be careful next time double the link before connecting your wallet.
Unfortunately, confirmed blockchain transactions can’t be reversed. We’ve nothing to do from our side.
