A few days ago in Telegram, I was offered to participate in an mining pool (usdtmama.org). Even though I knew it was probably a scam, but Interestingly I was told that all I need to do is having usdt bep20 in my trust wallet and I will get atleast 2.2% per day Depending on the amount of usdt in my own wallet!!! I got curious to know how it works so I accepted. The steps were like this: I had to enter the site through an invite link and Then I had to change EVM chain to bnb smart chain (it was on Ethereum by default) After that I had to click on receive and pay the gas fee in bnb and That’s it I was in. They asked for nothing else. From that day on, I earned 2.5% a day and I was able to transfer my profit from that site to my wallet. Can someone please tell me what is going on here? How can they do the mining with the money in my wallet? Do they have access to my wallet? Can they hack my wallet? Although I did not give them any sensitive information. TY
