My wallet was compromised, help

Dear Sir or Madam, I believe someone has hacked into my account and has found a way to take my money with it still showing in my account. I believe a fake Trust Wallet customer service representative is telling me to pay $3,000 to verify my account in order for me to make a transfer.

@captainphil That’s a scam, do not pay such.
If your wallet is compromised, please abandon the compromised wallet and create a new one immediately.

What about the money I have in there, trust WALL·E must assume some responsibility for a lose?

@captainphil Please be informed that Trust Wallet is a free, decentralized app that allows users to be custodians of their crypto assets.

Anyone can create a wallet without the need for any user verification.

We have no way to identify the person who has access to a specific wallet or address.

Trust Wallet does not hold the funds. Everything is on the blockchain.

What this means is that a wallet can be accessed using a different app.

The Trust Wallet team cannot reverse, cancel, or refund confirmed transactions in the blockchain since the app is a non-custodial wallet.

Every time I try to transfer I get perimeter error. Customer service asked for ID and three months bank statements to verify account. Then they said it would take a week. Now they want money to verify. I had 5,000 sent to account and two 10,000 bank deposit made.

@captainphil What wallet are you talking about ? Trust wallet doesn’t need ID verification.
