Please help! Iotex from trust wallet to Metamask

Need a little help folks please! Rookie error!

Tried to transfer Iotex tokens from trust wallet to Metamask, inadvertently sent iotex network tokens to Metamask iotex wallet. Tokens have successfully sent but not been received.

I have tried using the BIP39 - Mnemonic Code to retrieve which didn’t work. I believe I successfully imported the private key for derived address but no luck retrieving tokens

Can any one help? Please and thank you!

Thanks, RT

Hi @RoscoBosco,

Enter the private key or mnemonic phrase of your Metamask wallet here: https://iopay-wallet.iotex.io/ or https://iopay.iotex.io/desktop

Appreciate the reply @iamdeadlyz… Have done that and still no sign of anything?
Have had a look at both trust wallet and metamask on iotex io, successfully access wallet but nothing in either? Any other suggestions? Thanks again!

Make sure the private key that you imported results into the same wallet address. Check it again.

So I have gotten my Metamask wallet into iotex but still no luck, I sent to Metamask iotex public address in my wallet as shown:
0xE070764cEa3CECB9546a6ce5889Da4853F87cD63
via trust wallet.
When I log import Metamask to iotex I only see the io address? io1upc8vn828nktj4r2dnjc38dys5lc0ntrdh656a
Thanks

Ah! Checked it now, you sent it via Binance Smart Chain.

Here is what you should do:
Import the seed/recovery phrase from Metamask to the Trust Wallet app: open the Trust Wallet app > settings > wallets > + button on the top right corner > i already have a wallet > Smart Chain > import the private key or mnemonic phrase

That has done it! Thank you for your help … Have you a wallet I can send a large beer / easter egg to?

I have a similar issue in that I sent eth from trust wallet to metamask but it won’t show. I saw threads that talk about the reverse flow. Etherscan shows the transaction between the two wallet addresses as correct but I don’t see it in metamask. I haven’t been able to find out if I sent the wrong type of eth nor could I find the ‘token address’ of the eth to add as a custom token in Metamask. Hoping Eyes has a fix for this. Thank you.
