I need to verify my watch addresses and am unable to find the advanced setting option that was mentioned in anb earlier disscusion.

You would not be able to verify a watch address as this does not allow you access to the wallet.
Restore the wallet with the recovery phrase to do so.

maybe i am usung the wrong term I need to verify address ownership so that i can do more than just watch my assests
