Transactions are unable to proceed when sending to a Fraudulent Address

This article explains a SAFU protection to prevent users from accidentally sending to a Fraud Address.

Sending crypto is irreversible and there is no way to reverse transactions once it is confirmed on the blockchain. In order to prevent users from getting scammed or sending their funds to a potential fraud or scam address, Trust Wallet development team has added a feature that automatically checks the recipient address against a list of known Fraud addresses.

An error message like the one shown below will appear when attempting to send to a fraudulent address. The transaction will not proceed.

No worries your funds are SAFU. You have just avoided getting scammed. Please remember to always do your due diligence and double check the destination address before you hit Send.
