Unable to recover ETH sent to ETC wallet

Yesterday I sent by accident ETH to my ETC wallet (part of Trust multicoin wallet). The transfered amount didn’t show up in my ETC wallet (apparently). I followed the steps mentioned on this page to no avail: How To Recover Funds Sent to a Wrong Public Address. But after creating a ETH wallet with the private key of the ETC wallet didn’t solve anything. No transactions are shown, and balance is still 0.

You have withdrawn Binance-Peg Ethereum Token (BEP20), not a native Ethereum.

After getting the private key, open the Trust Wallet app > settings > wallets > + button on the top right corner > i already have a wallet > Smart Chain > import the private key

After importing…usually, it should be displayed automatically in the wallet. If not, tap the toggle sign on the upper right of the main wallet screen, search for Binance-Peg, and enable the one with Ethereum and BEP20. You can also follow this guide: How to Add or Remove a Coin
