Urgent help for transfering cryptos into trust wallet

Hi, lve just started using trust wallet today and would like to transfer some cryptos into trust wallet such as WIN (WINK), when l key in WIN in search box, it appears WIN WIN TRC10, WINK WIN TRC20 and so on, they look similar to me as a beginner, which one to pick please? l reckon it’s WINK WIN TRC20. how could l guarantee l pick the right one every time as l know it’ll be a huge problem if l get it wrong(my money will be lost forever). lve got another one which is HOT, it appears HOT HOT TRC10 and more, did l pick the right one by choosing HOT HOT TRC10. The last one is KSM (Kusama),when l key in KSM in search box of the Trust Wallet, it says no assets found, does it means that l can never put KSM into Trust Wallet, it’s so confusing, please help and many thanks

Hello @deanbugs113,

If you are referring to this crypto (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wink/), then choose TRC20.

Please search that token on Coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/) or Coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/) and send the link here so we can check which HOT token are you referring to.

Correct. Kusama is not supported in the app.

Hi, is it ERC 20? This was purely my wild guess? Shall l always pick 20 instead of 10? What do you mean by ERC , TRC? Thanks

Which one to pick please to ensure l pick the CORRECT one? Any advice to avoid making mistakes. Thanks again

It always depends on the crypto that you want to store as well as what you intended to do with it.

Where does your HOT token come from by the way? Also, what are you planning to do with the token?

For this one, where does your Polkadot token come from and what do you intend to do with it?

Hi, Polkadot tokens come from Binance(as ld like to store in my Trust wallet. Which one to pick please?

“What do you intend to do with it?”

Depending on your intentions, you can store it as a native one (first choice), as a BEP20 token for the Binance Smart Chain, BEP2 for Binance Chain, or as a wrapped token on the Ethereum network (ERC20).
