I would like to suggest that users earn credibility based off of Hearts or Upvotes. I think that a system asking “how accurate is this user” next to the post by the heart would go to the overall credibility meter of a user. This will prevent users from posting without double checking their work and help to increase intelligible conversations. This should only be under sections based in support or clarity, not opinion.
Due to anonymity and the ability to create alternate accounts, support for false information could run ramped. A credibility meter could be useful to create a safe and accurate discussion for all users.
How do you all feel about this? Any additional ideas?
