I have hardware wallet, but want to be able to view the balances/transactions of the crypto currencies using the public addresses in TrustWallet. How is it possible? If not yet possible yet, can you add this feature please? Thanks

Hi @fiz,
Your hardware wallet should support a watch-only mode if you want to monitor your addresses from the Trust Wallet app.
If you do it the other way (watch your hardware wallet address using the Trust Wallet app), then it is possible:

is it possible to have one cold TrustWallet APK installed in a phone that is not connected to the internet and have the seed installed - i.e. cold wallet
Then have another hot TrustWallet without the seed but able to transact based on values generated from the cold TrustWallet - but not knowing the seed.
Is it possible to do this?

Nope, that’s not possible. The seed phrase should be logged in the phone, and if you are trying to send your cryptos out, it should be connected to the internet.

but when can we not have a offline wallet with a online one that does the transfer, like Ledger Nano S? e.g. one can store the key and other to transact

They are planning to support this in the future. Also, this is not a short-term plan. Let’s keep an eye out
