I get an address for view-only wallet. I need a private key for access. How to get a key?
I need to pay.
How do I know that the key is being sold by a real person and not a scammer?

@AldoCosa That’s a scam, why would you want to pay for a wallet that doesn’t belong to you ?

ive got the view only wallet also how do i remove it to use my money i made the wallet to receive payment after making it the person send money to it and then said i had to pay for a code to access my payment she said after making payment the vuew only wallet would be removed is this true or a scam

@Mickey0316 Sorry that’s a scam.
Why would you pay money for a wallet that isn’t yours ? Or use a wallet created by someone else?

Tobi, is it possible to delete view-only wallet that has funds in it? How can the funds in there be transferred?

@pappoo If you do not own the wallet, there is no way to access the tokens in it.

@Bipi I’m not sure if i understand correctly, although a view only wallet means you do not have access to the tokens in it except you actually own the wallet and have the keys.

@Bipi That’s a scam, if you do not own a wallet or created a wallet yourself, why would you assume it is yours if you pay a fee.
Please do not fall for that.
Your main wallet is also most likely compromised since they requested you to add some money there. To safeguard your self, please delete that wallet and create a new one immediately and ensure never to share your recovery words.

@Bipi A view only wallet means you can only watch the funds in it, they do not belong to you.
Please block and report whoever gave you that. It is 100% a scam.
