I keep getting an error trying to send my ERC-721 token to a new wallet saying theres an error with the contract but Trust Wallet is trying to send it as an ERC-20 which is definitely an issue?

I have checked the address and saw that there is an ERC 721 token

There should be no problem sending the token.
The error message can also be related to the contract.
Have you tried to reach out to the issuer to see if there is anything preventing transfers?

Did you add this contract manually or you use collectibles tab in the app?

If you add manually, you add it as ERC20. You need to contact opensea and ask why your erc721 is not listed
