What is transaction signing in Advance settings ? What’s the use of it ?

Transaction signing is for automatic signing of transactions which is helpful when accessing DApps.
The need for additional confirmation is eliminated.

Could you expand a little in that? I’m not getting what the transaction signing does? Is it that before confirming a transaction Trust Wallet will ask for a signature? I have none understanding what that means? Thank you kindly
