Can't send BEP20 token

I’m trying to send a BEP20 token (CAKE) and get the message “Insufficient BNB to cover network fee”. However I do have enough BNB in my wallet. I get the feeling there is some issue related to which network my BNB is on? I can’t see which network Trust Wallet thinks my BNB is on - it just says “Coin” for BNB, whereas other coins say “BEP20” or “ERC20” A bug?

Hi, your BNB tokens should be in BEP20 format. You can send your BNB BEP2 to Binance so you can withdraw it as Binance Smart Chain (BSC) BEP2 token.

Here’s the guide on how to receive it

Thanks, that worked. It might be helpful to flag Smart Chain BNB as BEP20 instead of “COIN” (and regular BNB as ERC20 if that’s correct).

Glad it worked! By the way, the regular BNB is the BEP2 version, not the ERC20. Anyways, your suggestion is noted. Cheers!
