I simply Googled PancakeSwap and it was the very first result. Scammers must have paid Google Ads a ton to get to the very top of the search results, over the actual site. It was an exact clone of the current PancakeSwap page too, looked exactly like the current page does down to every detail.
Hey Alan can you please help me. I tried buy etherum with Bnb (.3) on pancake swap. It’s said it was successful but I can’t see my funds can you please help me.
Hey Alan can you please help me . I tried buying Etherum with BNB (.3) on pancake swap. It say successful but I can’t see my crypto. Can you please help me my tx hash is 0x3a6c8d7b2b76116e47fbb6718e6531fffe240ea5e0daade6465f4937439556db
Hello @Damion81 you swapped Bnb for Binance peg ETH not native ETH, so it will not displayed on Ethereum native coin balance.
To be able to view it, please tap on top right corner and search Ethereum token then switch on Ethereum token BEP20 manually. This guide can help too: How to Add or Remove a Coin
To top it off, I can’t figure out how to add the screenshots to this post!!!
The original coin was
BTCB 0x7130d2a12b9bcbfae4f2634d864a1ee1ce3ead9c (BEP20)
The Tx ID was 0xec2cab7b2eb2e63549f725ef1fa34432cac2dbb338ed781542dbd3db099b9325
From 0x0d2a09539d78214684d09b4b7305b38e4ea9f211
To 0x7130d2a12b9bcbfae4f2634d864a1ee1ce3ead9c (says BINANCE BTCB Token)
I’ve tried to sort this and contacted Trust Wallet with the screenshots they require but get hourly emails from their bots asking if I still need help. I do!
I’m trying to figure out where this BTCB went.
I think I tried to convert it within my own Trust Wallet.
Hi @JennyMillan
Thank you for looking at this!
I still can’t figure it out.
Did I successfully convert to Wrapped BNB in my wallet? There is no record of that in my Trust wallet WBNB bit.
Then if it (whatever it is) went to another wallet or exchange address, it must have been one of the few I have? Is that reasonable?
Hi @JennyMillan and anyone else that may be able to help. What I have confirmed is that it was converted into WBNB in my Trust Wallet and sent back into my trust wallet, but there is no evidence of this in my Trust Wallet. WBNB to a different wallet and not Exodus. The address is 0x0D2A09539D78214684D09b4B7305b38E4EA9F211 and i have confirmed that it is my Trust wallet by sending myself small sums of BNB from another account just now.
I am now STUCK! If “Trust” wallet won’t respond, what can I do?
@LucasMcCoiny17 your transaction was successfully completed but it seems your funds redirected to another address (0x0D2A09539D78214684D09b4B7305b38E4EA9F211).
This usually occurs when you swap your tokens on phishing/fake DApps sites.
Can you tell us where did you find the link used during swapping? Send screenshot displaying the site with link visited visible.
@LucasMcCoiny17 what I’m asking is, where did you get PancakeSwap link used for swapping? It seems like you used fake/phishing scam site and your funds were redirected to different address after swapping.
I would have gone into the dapps section and tried to change the cryptocurrencies through pancake swap and a couple of other exchanges in there because I was trying to convert to something that was more mainstream and transferable
