Hello @Pineapple2022 It seems you sent your native VET to ETH/BSC address.
Please follow this guide: https://community.trustwallet.com/t/how-to-recover-funds-sent-to-a-wrong-public-address/145

Select ETH in the coin part. Scroll down to the list of derived addresses and get the private key in the first row.

After getting the private key, open the Trust Wallet app > settings > wallets > + button on the top right corner > i already have a wallet > VeChain > import the private key

Just attempted but shows zero VET after importing key? Any other ideas?

@Pineapple2022 The address which you imported the private key, was it the same as the one you sent your funds to?

Yea it was. Just checked to be sure. That’s not the contract address is it?

@Pineapple2022 Can you kindly confirm again
Did you send to your VET address but on the BSC network or you sent your VET to your BSC address ?

Sent VET via BSC network. The deposit address matches my trust wallet. I’ve made other vet transactions since so will it be the second or third private keys down in mneumonic code converter?

@Pineapple2022 Please attach a screenshot of your VET address and also your BSC address.

@Pineapple2022 my colleague asked for BSC and VET address screenshots. Can you send them please.

Sorry not sure. how do you do that? Says can’t embed media so copied and pasted the links

@Pineapple2022 you can send screenshot now. I have enabled it for you.

@Janekelli29 your tokens didn’t reflected because you sent VET BEP20 to your native VET address.

To recover your funds; Please follow this guide:

https://community.trustwallet.com/t/how-to-recover-funds-sent-to-a-wrong-public-address/145

Select ETH in the coin part, then select the BIP32 option under Derivation Path, Client “Custom derivation path” .
*Enter the following values for BIP32 Derivation Path m/44'/818'/0'/0

and continue with Step 4.

After getting the private key, open the Trust Wallet app > settings > wallets > + button on the top right corner > i already have a wallet > BSC > import the private key

@Pineapple2022 You didn’t import the private key for your VET address.
Follow the instructions my colleague sent above.
Ensure the private key you are importing from the Iancoleman website belongs to the same address that matches your VET address.
Please read through the instructions carefully and try again.

I believe I have done that but still ends with 0 balance

@Pineapple2022 You need to add it manually as a custom token using these details
Network: Smartchain
Contract: 0x6FDcdfef7c496407cCb0cEC90f9C5Aaa1Cc8D888
Decimals: 18

Sorted it. Thanks for your patience wrapping my head round it. I appreciate you.

Great! Glad to know that. If you have further inquiries, feel free to message us. Stay SAFU!
