Compromised wallet

Hello,
yesterday, I tried to swap my BNB to WETH by using trade BNB function in Trust wallet. ( Did in the application). Then, When I clicked swap and checked my BNB balance, it said that I have transferred all my BNB to some address.
I just want to know that how is this possible? How can I take my BNB back ? Help me pls.

4 Yesterday, I tried to swap my BNB to ETH, but there might be some error. During swap process, it downloaded and, then, it show as my screen that my BNB has transferred to some address. Now, I have no BNB in my account. So, I tried to swap again. The result was the same, and my BNB (0.0019) was transferred to same account again. How can I get my BNB back ??

Hi @Paeanisadorable
If you didn’t authorize the transaction, then your wallet is most likely compromised.

But, just a moment, I swap my BNB again, and nothing happens. I can swap from BNB to ETH as usual. I dont think someone will know my recovery phrase. Can you trace back to address that I transferred my BNB to?

Hello @Strofu123
Sorry to hear about your recent experience. Here are the possible reasons:

  1. You shared your 12 words (via phishing, social engineering, etc.);

  2. You saved your 12 words in a very bad place;

  3. Your device is corrupted with malware;

  4. Someone had physical access to your device;

  5. You entered your recovery phrase on a fake/clone app.

  6. You transacted with a malicious DApp.
