To unstake from an inactive validator (apr is showing as 0), you need to redelegate the unstake afterward. Here’s a guide:
Changing the Validator
With Trust Wallet, anyone can be a delegator in the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem by staking BNB to their chosen Validator. The top 21 validators may change depending on the amount of BNB that they hold. You can see a list of active validators here: BNB Chain | Binance Staking | Binance Swap . In the event that the validator becomes an Inactive one, you will not be able to get any staking rewards until they get re-elected to the top validators list.
A Redelegate option…
Be informed that it will take 7 days for the BNB to be fully unstaked.
Unstaking period starts on the next day UTC 00:00
Once you unstake, you will not receive rewards.

Unstaking BNB
Important:
This guide is only applicable if you have Binance Chain (BNB) tokens currently staked. After you send an Undelegate transaction, your staked BNB will begin the unbonding period on the next UTC 00:00.
It will take 7 days before the BNB becomes Available. Once the process of unstaking BNB has been started, you will not receive any staking rewards. You cannot do anything to your tokens during this time, so plan ahead.

This, unfortunately leaves another challenge entirely.
I staked about 8.5 BNB early March with Alps as validator. Nothing came of it after the advertised 7 days.
Updated the app and redelegated to TW Stake, thinking that was a smart choice.
7 days past and nothing came of it. As a matter of fact, TWT Stake became INACTIVE!
Now, I have had enough and have decided not to stake again. I want a full UNSTAKE!
This, too, is taking forever.
Something certainly isn’t right here!
Hi @llterix ,
“TW Staking” validator node is not inactive. You can double-check here: BNB Chain | Binance Staking | Binance Swap
To clarify, can you send me the following information:
Trust Wallet app version (open the app, go to the settings of the app and press “About”, take a screenshot, and attach it here)
BNB wallet address (press the receive icon near the send button, take a screenshot of the QR code, and attach it here)
Screenshots of the wallet (including errors, validator issue, or missing balance)

This isn’t the info I have on my wallet (see attached screenshot).
From my app, the TW validator is ‘inactive’ as can be seen above.
However, I have already unstaked and still cannot access my balance.
I’ll appreciate both my earned commissions and staked amount as I’m not open to the idea of redelegation (again).
Interesting. What is your Trust Wallet app version now? (open the app, go to the settings of the app and press “About”, take a screenshot, and attach it here)
Version 1.27.18.
However, it appears that I need a minimum of 70 characters to forward this reply.
This text is in fulfillment of that righteousness.

Can you try to re-import your wallet?
Here’s a guide:
Why do I need to Re-Import my Wallet?
Here are some scenarios that require this step:
Coins or Tokens are not showing properly on the wallet. Balance is not accurate.
Transactions list is showing Pending items but nothing is pending on Blockchain explorer.
Some transactions are not listed, but shows fine on the Blockchain explorer.
Unable to Send or Swap/Exchange on Built-In DEX.
Switching over to the Beta version of Trust Wallet app.
Other issues that require a restore of your wallet.
Ho…
Also, you might want to try using WiFi with a strong internet connection and/or VPN. There might be internet connection issues on your end.
Reimported. No luck.
My internet connection isn’t slow - so this shouldn’t be an issue.
Anything else I could try with remote hope for a resolution?
What’s your BNB address? (ress the receive icon near the send button, take a screenshot of the QR code, and attach it here)
Also, send screenshots of the app errors.
Are you using mobile data or WiFi?

No errors register except that no rewards are showing up even after a successful 7 day stake with TW Staking.
I’m in the habit of using both.
But mobile data is what I rely on mostly.
Rewards automatically add up to your total available BNB.
Since validatorset info is updated every day UTC 00:00, to make some room for the error handling, we distribute the fees of day N-1 in the next breathe block (day N+1). Thus, after you sent delegate transaction, you will receive your first staking rewards at the second UTC 00:00. Afterwards, you will receive your rewards everyday at UTC 00:00.
In simple terms, Rewards will be distributed automatically after 3 days of staking .
You may have not noticed it since you only staked a small amount (you are getting staking rewards in decimals).
I actually staked 8.5BNB.
If there were any rewards sent in, I wouldn’t have missed it, especially with an APR of about 19%.
Or, can anyone miss at least 1BNB added to his/her balance?
That is the yearly rate, not daily. You are getting the rewards in decimals (if you do the math), you didn’t receive it in 1 BNB immediately.
This is both enlightening and strange.
My thoughts were that this will come in at the expiration of the 7 day term.
Is there further literature documenting this you could point me to?
Would love to read further about this ‘yearly appreciation’.
