Trust Wallet has integrated the new 1inch v4 swap function into Trust Wallet! Read on for the full announcement, plus an easy and quick tutorial on this feature.
You can now easily swap tokens across the same chain, on a larger variety of chains!
Why is this feature so useful?
Have you ever wanted to quickly swap some ETH to SHIB, BNB to BUSD, USDT to ETH… etc.? (the list goes on and on…). Well previously you’ve been able to do this only on BEP-20, BEP-2 and ERC-20 chains (this is Binance Chain, BNB and Ethereum).
We’ve now integrated the updated 1inch protocol to Trust Wallet, so now you’ll be able to swap tokens on a further 6 chains! These include:
- Avalanche ($AVAX)
- Polygon ($MATIC)
- Arbitrum ($ETH)
- Optimism ($OP)
- Gnosis ($GNO)
- Fantom ($FTM)
- Binance Chains ($BNB) (already supported)
- Ethereum ($ETH) (already supported)
How to use the new feature:
It’s super simple to use! There are 2 ways you can access the swaps:
1 - Through the main wallet page (just look for the ‘swap’ icon below your wallet balance).
2 - Through the token you wish to swap. Here for example; I’ve chosen Polygon. Head to the Polygon token page in your Trust Wallet and look for the swap icon again.
Now, all you have to do is tap on the drop-down menu to select the tokens you’d like to swap (image 1). Next, enter the amount you’d like to swap, and tap on ‘swap’ (image 2).
The amount you will receive will be visible before you swap. Just sign the smart contract on the next window and… you’re done!
